Formed in 2011, The Sky Is Broken is an Indie Rock Band based in Kingston Jamaica. What started as casual jam Sessions among friends eventually evolved into what it is today. The group using their combined musical influences and talents created their first EP; Tribes.
A sound never thought possible within the Jamaican music landscape which is typically known for its reggae influences. With the aim to break the norm, mixing ambient yet melodic guitar tones with percussive beats and impactful harmonies, the band created music that not only affects your emotions, but embraces it as well.
